Overview Roger Abramson Jon Offerman Mike Leiderman Michael Gerla Dave Spannus

As the newest addition to The Atlantic Group management team, Michael Gerla brings strong relationships, connections in a wide range of industries and his ability to manage a deal from multiple perspectives to the company's leadership.

Originally from Great Neck, Long Island, Gerla attended the University of Arizona as a baseball pitcher with fellow athlete and now partner, Jon Offerman.

Upon graduating in 1987 with a degree in Real Estate finance, this future furniture deal-maker went straight to work in New York's commercial real estate market, starting at Williams Real Estate Company and eventually closing some of the largest real estate transactions in the tri-state area on behalf of Colliers ABR and most recently, for Jones Lang LaSalle. Gerla was best known as a broker who served his clients, opened doors, generated results and made connections. Because of his personable approach, he continually closed deals for high profile companies including the MTA, Adidas, Z100 radio, Miramax Films and many others.

It was Gerla's easy-going approach, ability to think creatively, charismatic demeanor and strong relationships that made Abramson and Offerman realize that after fifteen years of friendship, he was a perfect fit for The Atlantic Group. His strong ties with high-level brokers, decision-makers, and large companies give him an edge when courting new business, and have added new industries to The Atlantic Group's constantly expanding portfolio.

When not working on behalf of his clients, Gerla can be found playing softball, basketball (or any other sport possible) and spending time with his wife and two daughters at their home in Scarsdale, NY.
